Michael Kuyucu was a guest on a ‘Bugün Sanat’ programme which is broadcasted on Bugun TV. Michael Kuyucu who answered the questions about attending the Eurovision Song Contest of Turkey and his book ‘Müzik Dünyasını Anlamak’ (Understanding the music world) said that a universal music star does not exist in Turkey and Eurovision Song Contest is a chance for this, during filming for Bugün TV.
Michael Kuyucu said in ‘Bugun Sanat’ programme that producers in Turkey live at expositors’ expense and those moneys are illicit. Michael Kuyucu who said copyright system is unsuccessful, also added that Digital Music Industry in Turkey has not developed as it regarded. Kuyucu who said that digital music platforms in the world sell the music more expensive than digital platforms in Turkey, also told that being distributed the music free of charge in Turkey damages the music producer.
