Celebration of the 6th of May 1927 when the first radio broadcasting happened in Turkey is carried out by TRT with a private content. The birthday of radio broadacasting will get a private meaning with the ‘Radio Days’ which will be carried out by TRT.
For this private application, TRT composed a mixed broadcasting that consisted of the best radio programmers of Turkey who broadcasting in a private radios. According to this application, the most loved radio programmers of Turkey on TRT Fm will do a common broadcasting with their radios and TRT Fm on the 6th of May. The private radios will announce the programmes to Turkey from both their radios and TRT Fm with doing common broadcasting with TRT Fm. This celebration will be the first in Turkey, even in the world. Michael Show programme also takes place in the mixed of private radio programmers which chosen by TRT.
82 years in radio broadcasting is planning to celebrate with the participation of common broadcasting radios under the leadership of TRT Ankara Radio. Within the framework of this plan, the radio stations such as Alem Fm, Süper Fm, Radyo D, Kral Fm, Radyo Tatlıses, Radyo Klas, Best Fm, Açık Radyo, Radyo ODTÜ and their programme producers, radio programmers from several countries invited to Ankara.

TRT Fm broadcasting will broadcast from Ankara Radio Studios for 24 hours, from 7am on the 6th of May,2009. Radio programmers who invitee will attend to TRT Fm broadcasts in their own broadcasting time and they bring in something new in Turkey by common broadcasting with the radios that they work.
